What is a doula?A doula is a person that provides physical, emotional and informational support to a pregnant person during pregnancy, labor and early postpartum.

Do I have to have a home/birth center birth to use your services?No, I welcome all types of birth plans.

Can I hire you at any point in my pregnancy?Yes, it’s never too early or never too late to hire a doula!

Do you take health insurance?Not at the moment; cash and credit/debit only.

Do I still need a doctor if I have a doula?Yes, a doula is not a medical provider.

Is a doula and a midwife the same?No, a midwife is a medical provider, doulas do not perform clinical tasks.

Do I have to pay for services up front?A 50% deposit is due at the time of hire, and the remaining balance is due by 36 weeks of pregnancy.
